LOGAN, Utah-Each year the graduating students in the interior design program put on an amazing exhibit. The exhibit is a final farewell and an opportunity for the students to show off their work that they have so studiously completed over their four-year education. The exhibit is opened to all who are interested and runs for two weeks.
For a student who has already graduated and experienced her own senior exhibit, Jill Skousen said, “For me, the Interior Design Senior Exhibit was the culminating point of my bachelor’s degree [at Utah State University]. It was a chance for me to showcase the projects I had worked on through four years of school and to receive feedback from other students. I do wish that we had a wider audience at our exhibit because we had put so much effort into the event and it didn’t get the traffic we had hoped for. The exhibit has great potential to be a platform for Utah State to show the caliber of their Interior Design program to prospective students, design professionals, and the community.”
Danielle Wise who is a senior in the Interior Design program and will be graduating spring of 2008 said, “Our senior project is the main focus of the event. This year it entails redesigning an existing building to fit the needs of a new company’s corporate headquarters. The building is 90,000 square feet. We are required to design it top to bottom, exterior and interior. The senior exhibit also gives the program credit for out efforts and also gives the community a sense of our relationship with national and international organizations and awards.”
This year the seniors hope to bring in an audience that can appreciate the work that has been done. They are also trying to raise money to put toward the exhibit. In the past donations have been made from around the community and the program hopes that those interested will take this opportunity to support a great program once again.

Madison, good job that sounds really interesting. I do have a couple comments though. The quote could be shorter with you paraphrasing more. More info. on the interior design program. In the quote by Daniele Wise the'credit for out efforts...' doesn't make sense.
