Utah Jazz Take a Victory Over Cleveland Cavaliers
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah-The Utah Jazz defends their home court with a 106-99 sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Andrei “AK-47” Kirilenko had an amazing game with 21 points and 21 blocks. “I decided I was going to block shots this game, that is where I focused and it worked out.” Said Kirilenko after the game. Prior to the game, Kirilenko had watched video clips of the Cavaliers, mainly LeBron James, to be prepared and know what to anticipate. When asked about James, Kirilenko said, “He moves fast!”
During a post game interview, Jerry Sloan, the head coach of the Utah Jazz, said, “I feel our guys could do better on defense. Kirilenko had a great game, but a lot of guys could do better. The final score of 106-99 is a close game.” With one minute remaining in the game the score was 100-99 for the Jazz. Paul Millsap had the ball and scored a three, seconds later C.J. Miles also scored a three, ending the game and putting another win behind the Utah Jazz.
The lead scorer of the game tonight was Carlos Boozer with 29 points and 7 rebounds. LeBron was in second with 28 points. LeBron, after the game, said, “I really felt that, even though we never had the lead, we were in the game the whole time. Salt Lake City has one of the loudest crowds and they protect their home well. I think the crowd took us out of the game more than anything.” LeBron remembers being in high school watching Kirilenko play and thinking he deserved to be a star. “I haven’t seen that Kirilenko in a long time, but I definitely saw him tonight.”
The Utah Jazz never went behind in this game. The score was tied up eight different times, but the Jazz managed to keep the pressure on and keep the lead. Sloan plans on working on defense, running some plays, and stepping things up for the next game on Friday November 9th against the Seattle Sonics at Seattle.

I liked all the information, and a good job of getting the quotes in there. Separating the paragraphs just a little might help clarify the separate parts a little more. Overall I thought it was a good summary of the game though, and got all the information in there. The only major add on I can think is to make more of a big deal about Andrei breaking the blocks record, it would make the story stand out more.
I did not know know Andrei blocked that many shots. That is a lot of shots to block. That must be so kind of a record? You continue to rock as a writer.
I'm glad to see you finally try your hand at sports. Whatever you touch turns to gold!
